Unfortunately, these are often confused in the book trade with the increasing number of self-published books that are poorly written and lacking professional copy editing and proofreading. The result is that good books do not achieve the market penetration that they deserve.  We are launching (April 2007) our book review service to enable authors/publishers to have their books read and reviewed by book trade professionals. The resulting reviews can be used in promotions. Appearing on our website will in itself be an additional means of promotion.
